Our Moral Imperative

Our focus
Being responsive to the needs in education settings and providing solutions so that children and young people who are disadvantaged by the education they receive are equipped with all the tools and habits through our Self-Empowering curriculum.
We use Black History content responsibly and appropriately as the key driver for designing and developing the Conscious Curriculum that is delivered by adults educators in schools and colleges.

Our uniqueness
As Change Agents in Action, we have developed tools for using Black History content that is inspirational and uplifting. This motivational gateway is the key to supporting children and young people.
We have designed a distinctive ‘standard conscious curriculum’ and ‘enhanced conscious curriculum’ in such a way that it runs parallel to any school or college curriculum.

Our vision is our Moral Imperative
We understand our responsibility in recognising and acknowledging the inequalities that continue to exist for children and young people who are disadvantaged by the education they receive.
We continue to be responsive to the needs in our education system so that we demonstrate our ways for ensuring that the Conscious Curriculum forms part of every child or young person’s educational experience. This is so that children and young people are fully present in recognising that even through struggle and adversity there is still achievement.
