Our Products

The Conscious Curriculum runs seamlessly alongside an existing education settings curriculum. It consists of two programmes of study:

Programme 1: The Standard Conscious Curriculum

Programme 2: The Enhanced Conscious Curriculum

Both of these are Self-Empowering Programmes that are designed and developed for all age groups. The programmes are designed to be delivered according to age groups. Each programme uses Black History Content as the key driver for all curriculum materials.

The Conscious Curriculum comprises six self-empowering elements according to stage and age.

At each key stage and age, appropriate Black History content has been carefully developed and used as the key driver for each of the six self-empowering elements.

The Six Self-Empowering Elements:

Conscious Curriculum-Standard 

Comprises a programme of study that has been designed to be easily accessible to all children and young people and developed to be progressive in the development of skills

Conscious Curriculum-Enhanced 

Comprises a recovery curriculum that is responsive and designed specifically for a targeted group of children and young people who have been disadvantaged because of the education they receive

Key features

  • A consciously designed curriculum that provides the framework for developing Self-Empowering habits
  • A strategically implemented Self-Empowering curriculum that uses Black History content to empower, enlighten and encourage children and young people to be the very best examples of themselves

  • Comprises high-quality content that provides an opportunity for ALL children and young people to develop powerful Self-Empowering habits
  • Provides a logical sequence in which Self-Empowering tools are progressive
  • Ensures that the curriculum model that uses aspects of Black History content  is appropriate, responsive, and responsible

  • REMOVE Delivery due to the nature of the targeted groups of children and young people
  • Curriculum content in which the enhanced curriculum has an even deeper emphasis on Self-Empowering habit development
  • Learning resources that are developed as a result of the context of all groups and targeted groups
  • Reflections on the learning experience thus acknowledging the different starting points for children and young people
